My Story
I know I'm not the only one that sometimes feel that their voice doesn't matter. Or that what they may have to say is not going to effect anyone. Well I was wrong!

From the age of 7, poetry helped me find my voice, make sense of my experiences and connect with others through shared stories. It blesses me when I hear the stories of how my words not only touch people, but help them not only explain or define a feeling they may have, but open up their mind. That is the power words have.

Today, I use that same gift to help people reflect, heal, and express themselves through words. Through poetry, workshops, speaking and creative resources, Ink Jess Poetry exists to inspire connection, self- discovery and transformation.
